Marcel Kaminstein is an American born in the US, but he spent most of his summers in Italy since his mother is from Rome and is fluent in English and Italian. He did his undergraduate studies at American University of Rome and received an International Business Degree in 2002. In 2004, he became Manager and Coordinator Special Events Luxury Division for Starboard Cruise Services an LVMH company, specializing in cruise ship duty free retail specifically producing jewelry trunk show programs for manufacturers like Cartier and EFFY. In 2006 he spun off his department to create CBG, an organization that creates and manages Brands and operates the logistics for ships worldwide. Marcel has successfully lobbied to have created a customs ruling in the US to specifically address his companies niche logistical process. In 2015 Marcel joined the AICR Board as secretary and was assigned the role of VP in November 2015. In December 2016 Marcel stepped in as acting President for the duration of the term and then was elected as President in May 2018. Current AICR successes include, creation of the business networking events, inclusion of student memberships, recreation of the AICR website and the strengthening of AICR-US Embassy community relations.
