Loretta Dusini is a native New Yorker who has been living in Rome for almost 15 years. She graduated from City University of New York in International Business after having studied one year abroad at the University of Bologna in Italy. Loretta’s work experience includes the Chamber of Commerce in New York as Marketing Manager, followed by Trade Analyst at the Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. Loretta then began a new challenge in Rome at the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican as Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Mission followed by a Political Appointment as Special Assistant to Ambassador Jim Nicholson (also former Secretary for Veterans Affairs). She is currently at the U.S. Embassy in Rome as Global Employment Advisor.
Loretta’s mother tongue is English. She also speaks fluent Italian and studied Spanish and French. Her interests include art, history and politics. Loretta is fulfilling her fourth year on the American International Club of Rome Board of Directors. She loves the cinema, sports and is an avid kick-boxer.
