(*) NOTE: The "Nova Armonia" Choir of Rome was born with the name of S.Pio X Polyphonic Choir on the initiative of the current director Ida Maini and a small group of high school and university students began its activity in the spring-summer of 1958, for the pleasure of singing folk songs and of the mountain together, especially by transcribing the elaboration for the manly chorus of the SAT for a mixed choir, still the most important complex for the performance of Alpine songs. In the autumn of the same year they began to prepare songs in Latin, including the ordinary of the Mass, in anticipation of the Novena and especially of the S. Christmas. The choir is registered with the Regional Choir Association of Lazio. The rather vast repertoire ranges from the medieval monody to the European polyphony from the renaissance to the present day, also including expressions of national and international folklore.
